Meck Studio provides urban mobility advisory and design leadership services to government agencies delivering complex transport projects throughout the world. In Sydney, our work with Sydney Metro and Transport for NSW supports the integration of new infrastructure into existing neighbourhoods and greenfields, ensuring mobility upgrades strengthen place outcomes rather than compromise them. We bring a place-led approach to multi-modal planning, aligning walking, cycling, public transport and public domain design into cohesive urban frameworks. We help clients translate technical transport requirements into clear, liveable and future-ready city outcomes.

Oxford Street East Cycleway
Meck Studio provided urban design advisory support to Transport for NSW on the Oxford Street East Cycleway, helping ensure a place-led approach to cycling infrastructure within one of Sydney’s most iconic heritage streets. Key outcomes include:
Removal of traffic lanes for a 1.8km separated cycleway; and
Improved bus integration within the streetscape; and
50+ new trees, upgraded lighting, new street furniture and outdoor dining opportunities.

Sydney Metro West Airport Line Extension
Meck Studio supported Sydney Metro on the development of a long-term business case to guide metro expansion across Western Sydney. Our role focused on strengthening station–precinct integration and embedding place-led urban design thinking into early planning, precinct frameworks and delivery strategy. Key features include:
Land use and transport integration for 14 stations across Western Sydney, between Tallawong and Campbelltown.
Providing a rapid transport link for 450,000 residents of the new Aerotropolis.
Supports metro expansion vision to connect Western Sydney Airport into the broader network, enabling 28,000+ jobs and delivery of the 30-year Western Parkland City vision
